(398 words) Marina Tsvetaeva is known all over the world. Her poems are studied in schools, books are written about her life. Not surprisingly, the fate of the poetess consisted of vortices and dashing turns. The most important thing we will discuss in this article.
She was born on October 8, 1892. The writer has changed about 3 educational institutions due to the fact that her family was forced to move to different countries, as the warm air was useful for her sick mother. Tsvetaeva began to compose verses at an early age. Already at the age of 18, the poetess, with her own money, released her first collection entitled “Evening Album”. Her debut made a splash with the public. Bryusov, Voloshin and Gumilyov immediately became interested in her. After meeting them, she enters into the circle of symbolists. Throughout her life, Marina Ivanovna wrote about 10 collections.
The literary world was a major part of her life. Her lover was a poet, her husband was a publicist. Tsvetaeva met him on the seashore. When meeting, Sergei Efron gave her her favorite stone - carnelian. A pleasant fact: Marina Ivanovna always said that she would marry someone who guesses her favorite stone. Such a combination of circumstances may well be called fate. From her husband she gave birth to three children - the eldest Alya, the middle Irina and the youngest son George.
Misfortune haunted Tsvetaeva for periods. The death of Irina in the orphanage from hunger, unfortunately, is only the beginning of trouble. The family lived very poorly, the poetess was sure that the girl could survive in the shelter. Subsequently, her husband was sent abroad, and only in 1922 Tsvetaeva together with her daughter was able to go to him. Marina Ivanovna knew from her own experience what it was like to live in poverty and despair. They stopped in Germany, then in the Czech Republic, then in France, and struggled to feed themselves. The husband of the writer was very ill, could not work. Although Tsvetaeva issued prose, even being abroad, it was not particularly profitable. The situation was getting worse. In 1937, Sergei Efron fled from France to his homeland, then gradually the whole family returned to the USSR. After 4 years, her husband will be sentenced to death. Perhaps this will be the last blow from fate, which Marina Ivanovna will not be able to bear.
On August 31, 1941, Marina Tsvetaeva will commit suicide by hanging himself on the very rope that Boris Pasternak brought to her to bandage her suitcase. Moore (so affectionately called George at home) dies in the war in 1944. Ariadne later marries, but has no children in marriage. We wrote more about the life of a writer here.
